Now to argue one would say men and jewelry just don't go together...but I let the photograph speak for itself. Men of Rajasthan have such extreme but charming views on dressing up...their faces would be sun burnt and they would walking miles and miles into the dusty deserts of Rajasthan... But never do they ever in such arid conditions loose their love for color and some charming use of jewelry...

I always fancied the idea of custom making everything in my wardrobe... It has a personal touch... something that is durable...made to your specification and most importantly to have something exclusive!
Keeping all these things in mind I went to one of the most known custom shoe maker in Delhi John Bros to try out the benefits of custom shoe making ... after seeing the workmanship and the level of detail that guys at Jon Bros use in their shoe making I was really impressed... They took about 4 weeks to make one pair... when i was happy with my first one the rest followed...I was really happy about the denim oxford shoe, it actually came out pretty good...
They are a little expensive but the material, construction quality and finishing is immaculate... they lack a little bit of presentation skill but then you can't complain much when you are getting such a high quality bespoke shoe...

Since a very long time the idea of doing something far distant but yet connected to street style has always interested me... going for less literal street style images and capturing more influencing or raw images is what I want to do from time to time... what i really like about these images is the natural and honest expression they have...

When I think of Rajasthan...bright colors, patterns & prints are the first thing that crosses my mind... I strongly believe that this place is an abundance source of inspiration in terms of style, colors and trend direction... it might be the case that all these inspirations are present in a very crude format but nonetheless it has inspired me always... A place which mostly consist of deserts and extreme temperatures it's hard to believe that people from this place would have such a rich color pallet... what is more interesting that men are at par with women when it comes to wearing colors... They would wear colors like bright pink, orange, green, yellow and break them with colors like gray, khaki, white & black... hence creating a stark contrast...
There were these subtle style directions that I saw in Pushkar during the fair... like how they drape their shawl.... the way they combine bright with neutral colors... their use of jewellery... their drapy headgear and of course their daunty mustaches...

I have always fancied the way musicians in New York dress up...There is always a purpose and a charming sense of style... I have clicked this fine looking gentleman a couple of times in Washington Sq Park playing some very fine jazz music... We have never conversed actually, just a slight hand gesture (permission to take the photograph) and nothing else...no name...no whereabouts...nothing... not that I was hesitant to strike a conversation but I did not want to disturb his body language and the concentration he puts into his music... It's just too beautiful to look at...
What I like most dearly about his style is the air of confidence he exhibits... Also how he uses classic items like trench coats, hats, ties and cravats in his looks... simply superb!

What makes menswear interesting?
One of the accessories that I swear by (‘never leave home without it’ kind) is the ‘Pocket Square’. Initially they were just used for hygiene purpose and were made of linen fabric. By 1920’s people started using it as a quintessential fashion accessory in combination with a suit, vest and a hat.

The Great Gatsby!
Adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name... The movie is placed during 1920's (roaring twenties) in U.S... The time for prohibition of alcohol which made the period even more sinful...
The star cast includes the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire who look sartorially sharp and sleek whereas Carey Mulligan turn heads with her sensuous flapper look...
For some reason the movie looks like a Ralph Lauren's video shoot... The clothes, mood, cars and backdrop is so Ralph Lauren...
Eagerly waiting for it to release (2013).

There is something very masculine about men smoking cigars... I know smoking is not good for one's health but I can't surpass the feeling I had when I saw these fine looking gentlemen who work at the Billy Reid store in Soho...
The look is very casual and comfortable... beating the heat is the main thing... cotton shirt, trousers/ shorts and jackets with no socks helps you to maintain the cool while still maintaining a little dressy look...

I was walking down the 5th avenue when I saw these (work of art) shoes... I like how Prada does it's accessories... always innovative and with quirk... The combination of combining something so masculine (strong shape of the shoe) with something so feminine ( flower motif) is not easy but Prada has done it so amazingly...
