Take me back to the 50's...
Such looks are reminisce of the period in which dressing up was a love affair in itself.... I can only imagine how beautiful and dressy women of that time would look... There are just a handful of people who are able to re create that feel and aura of magnificence...

I AM STYLISH.
I met Sarah right outside Lincon Center... I really liked her herringbone coat, one of the trends that i have seen this season is the use of scaled up patterns for tweeds and herringbone....Also the hat and the sunglasses add a little charm and fun to look making it a little boyish...

Susie Bubble...
I like how Susie Bubble styles herself... It is always acute and she maintains the element of surprise because everytime you would expect what new she would do...What stood out for me in this outfit were her shoes and the sunglasses....

The Grungy Gentleman... Jace Lipstein
Miroslava Duma in Houndstooth Suit...
There is something about the Houndstooth pattern that makes it so vivid and outstanding without the use of any traditional bright colors.... I think it's the shape of the motif and the arrangement that creates a lovely pattern of black and white giving a very retro feel to it...
The Flapper Look...
This look instantly took me back to my Fashion History books where I read about "The Roaring Twenties' -the era of Prohibition, when saloons were called speakeasies and women who frequented them were called flappers. The flappers wore bright red lipstick, danced the Charleston and listened to jazz bands...
I personally was proud of the shot since it captures the very feel of the look which the wearer was trying to portray...

The Flower People ...NYFW Fall 12
One of the trends that was quite evident in the Street Style at NYFW was the use of Flower as prints / embellishments / Accessories .... From clothing to accessories everything had flowers in it... The general design direction was using big motifs of flowers in prints... My personal favorite was the use of flower in a origami way on the shoulder... something which I haven't seen in a while and has huge trend potential...

Justin Doss... The Mad Hatter
Justin Doss is the Fashion Editor at GQ... What I really like about his looks is how sartorially inclined he is and still manages to add a bit of casualness through his scarfs , Shoes , Denim Jacket and Hats.... Justin is known for his hats and after seeing him regularly at NYFW I rest my case...
